Shaping Independent Optometry

For over 20 years, ProVision has worked to unite and support independent optometry and help shape its future.

ProVision is the largest independent optical group in Australia.  They assist their member optometrists to meet their professional objectives and grow their business via a unique format that enables them to retain their independence and ownership.

Established by the Optometrists Association of Australia (OAA) in 1989 as an independent membership organisation, ProVision now services the needs of over 370 independent optometrists nationally.

ProVision operates under a Board of Directors appointed by the OAA via their National Executive Council.  Based in Melbourne, the group employs over 20 staff to support their members around the country.

ProVision Purpose

ProVision's purpose is to promote and ensure the continued growth and successful operation of the independent fullscope optometric practices of its members by:

• Assisting members to compete and excel in their local area through ProVision's corporate resources and services;
   
• Uniting and supporting optometrists committed to the highest standard of clinical care, service and practice management;
