ProVision membership enables optometrists to maintain complete freedom over their eyecare business whilst benefiting from the collective strength of a major network.

Member Ownership

ProVision optometrists are the majority stakeholders in their private optometry
practice(s).  They each operate under their own business name and are completely independent of one another. 

Not a Franchise

ProVision is not a franchise.  Rather, membership within ProVision entitles optometrists to access ProVision corporate resources and services to assist them in running their practices, whilst retaining their true independence and freedom.

Recommendation Freedom

As independent optometrists, ProVision members have complete freedom to recommend and prescribe the best products for their customers.  They are not bound by corporate guidelines and franchise arrangements limiting their choices of brands.  As a result, eyewear solutions will always be recommended based on an individual's eyecare needs as opposed to corporate objectives.

Eyewear Selection

Whilst ProVision negotiates preferential supplier discounts with many frame, lens and contact lens manufacturers and distributors, it is up to individual members to determine whether they wish to utilise these benefits.  They are free to order from these suppliers and any other suppliers outside the ProVision network.
