Bayside Optometry in Wynnum West is a locally owned, proudly independent practice with a highly skilled, experienced and passionate optometry team. Conveniently located in Wynnum Plaza, we are dedicated to improving your vision and monitoring your eye health with professional and thoughtful advice from treatment options to the best eyewear solutions. With the assurance that continuity of care brings, you can rest easy knowing your eye health is in good hands for the long term and your vision needs will be met as your visual needs and lifestyle change.
Being independent enables us to focus on providing quality eye care to the Wynnum community without compromise.
We love the Bayside lifestyle. Sailing, fishing, kayaking, walking along the Wynnum Manly Esplanade, or watching the kite surfers and sailboarders scoot across the bay on a breezy afternoon.
At Bayside, we are a local team and a local business. We partner with other local businesses to keep money and jobs in the community and we also do everything we can to give back. We're currently active in a number of projects including collecting used spectacles for redistribution in third world countries for Rotary, and we sponsor a boarding house and school bus for the School of St Jude in Tanzania. At a local level, we sponsor a junior soccer side, contribute to prizes for school, sporting and community fund raising, and provide education sessions to students and parents on how to look after their eyes.
