Choosing to remain independent means we put your family’s needs ahead of any corporate targets or KPIs. We are able to make recommendations based on clinical benefit, not quotas, and can take extra time when something doesn’t add up.
Independence allows us to personalise care through specialised services such as vision therapy, myopia control and Ortho-K. It also means you can see consistent practitioners who know your history, understand your needs and build trust over time.
Being independent enables us to reinvest in staff training, modern equipment and community support, ensuring you receive honest, high-quality care.
In short, Ross and Lisa (the owners) are too stubborn to toe the party line. Their passion is to serve you in the best way they know how, and this commitment is reflected throughout the entire team.

Lisa has been practising optometry for more than 30 years. She became an optometrist because she loves helping people and improving their quality of life, believing that vision has a greater impact on how we live than any other sense. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys reading, running, science fiction, travelling, and spending time with her spectacular husband, her delightful children and their spouses.
Greg Rowe
Greg has been practising optometry for more than 40 years. He enjoys the variety and continual learning that optometry provides and is passionate about expanding his knowledge and services to deliver the best possible care for his patients. Outside of work, Greg enjoys playing golf and, when time permits, playing even more golf.
Giving back
For more than 20 years, Eyes at Narangba has supported organisations such as Scripture Union's School Chaplaincy Program, Teen Challenge, Guide Dogs, Optometry Giving Sight, Shave for a Cure and many more.
