Lisa Kingshott
Lisa studied optometry at the University of Melbourne, before working across Melbourne and regional Victoria. She returned home to Tasmania and Glenorchy Eyecare in 2017. Lisa has significant clinical expertise in glaucoma, children’s vision, and specialised contact lenses. She is the President of Optometry Tasmania. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys Tassie life with her young family.
John Kingshott
John studied optometry at the University of Melbourne, then moved to Tasmania to pursue a job opportunity at Glenorchy Eyecare. He has been here since 1983! John is caring, calm and experienced. He has been a board member of Optometry Tasmania for over 20 years. In his spare time, he loves bushwalking in Tasmania and futher afield.
Jack Musich
Jack studied optometry at Deakin University and soon after graduating, decided to make the move to Tasmania. He started practicing at Glenorchy Eyecare in 2025. Jack has particular interests in binocular vision and pediatric optometry, including myopia prevention and control. He has a background in the visual arts and maintains several eclectic hobbies outside of work such as lapidary and leather working.
Giving back
Glenorchy Eyecare provides accessible eye care to all members of the community, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Glenorchy Eyecare also financially supports the Hobart Clothing Hub: helping people access new, free clothing when they are in need - restoring dignity, comfort and confidence at a critical time.
