Peter Webster Optometrist Gatton has proudly provided continuity in eyecare to the Gatton community and surrounds for the past 34 years. In fact, our Railway Street address hasn't changed from the day we opened. On a daily basis, I am privileged to help people with their most precious sense, their vision. Choosing independent optometry was important as I believed it would allow me to practise in a way that would allow me develop and maintain a more personal connection with my patients, and deliver eye care excellence.

I love the local area in which I practice because Gatton is a small country framing town and the community supports each other through good times and times of hardship. It has also been a wonderful town to raise our children, two of whom have also become optometrists.

Optometry is an extremely rewarding profession. On a daily basis you are helping people who suffer from vision problems and other ocular and medical conditions, with the objective of helping them to maintain healthy sight. When I'm not practising, I'm fishing and spending time with my family, or touring outback Australia with my wife.
Giving back
At Peter Webster Optometrist, we give back to the local community by always attending to urgent cases promptly, through my follow up care and advice, and by helping people who cannot physically come to our practice by visiting them in their home or nursing home.
