When I started wearing glasses as a teenager I was fascinated by the tools and techniques my local optometrist used. I was also blown away by the difference my first pair of glasses made, and decided this was something I could do for a living. I enjoy having the same experience from the other side of the coin, and looking after patients of my own. My wife and two young sons dominate a lot of my spare time, however I'm also actively involved in my professional association, and manage to sneak in a couple of CrossFit sessions through the week. I've been practicing optometry for 20 years
Giving back
As active volunteers in our local and wider community, our team often assists the Essilor lens lab with school screenings and donating to raffles to help raise money for our local community. We often collect and donate unwanted spectacles to the Lions Club, who distribute them to people in need and recycle your contact lens packaging if permitted by you.
