At The Eyewear Shop, our friendly and professional team is committed to providing you with a personalised eye care service from the front desk to the consulting room. With over 30 years of experience combined, our optometrists practice full-scope of eye health and vision services, including prescribing glasses, contact lenses and ophthalmic medicines, as well as performing diagnostic tests in addition to your eye health checks.
Independent optometry means having the freedom to centre your eye care journey around you and your individual set of eyes. It enables us to carefully select quality frames and optical lenses that meet your individual needs so that you can see well and look great.
We love being located in a thriving community of friendly locals, as well as the vast array of local eateries and cafes.
Optometry is such a rewarding profession as I get to improve people's lives every day through the gift of sight. I have now been practising for over 30 years after graduating from QUT and subsequently obtaining a distinction in Ocular Therapeutics from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. I am a current panel member of the Optometry Board of Australia and previous member of the Optometrists Board of QLD.
I became an optometrist because I love helping others. With optometry, I am able to utilise my problem-solving skills to provide people with vision solutions and make a positive difference to their quality of life. I have a clinical interest in eye disease, children's vision and contact lenses.
I enjoy all aspects of Optometry including therapeutic prescribing, contact lenses, and children's vision. I have also partaken in numerous school vision screenings and volunteered in rural Western Australia.
